Terms of Service

These Terms govern all services provided by Trust Gate Cargo Packaging L.L.C (DED License No. 223794). Please read them carefully before engaging our services.

1Parties & Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between:

Service Provider: Trust Gate Cargo Packaging L.L.C, a limited liability company registered under Dubai DED License No. 223794, with registered office at Office 208, Hamsah Block A, Khalid Bin Waleed Road, Al Karama, Dubai, UAE.

Client: Any individual, business, or organisation that engages Trust Gate for services via quotation acceptance, written confirmation, or commencement of services.

By engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full.

2Services Provided

Trust Gate provides the following professional services:

Relocation & Movers: Residential and commercial packing, loading, transport, unloading, and furniture assembly across UAE and internationally
Cargo Transportation: Road freight, groupage consolidation, refrigerated transport, and vehicle shipping within UAE and to GCC countries
Manpower Supply: Provision of skilled and semi-skilled labour including packers, drivers, forklift operators, and technicians
Storage & Warehousing: Climate-controlled short and long-term storage at DIC and Jebel Ali facilities
Furniture Installation: Assembly, disassembly, and installation of residential and commercial furniture
Cargo Packaging: ISPM-15 certified wooden crating, industrial packaging, and export packing solutions
Customs Clearance: Licensed customs brokerage services through Dubai Customs (Mirsal II) for UAE-KSA and international cargo

3Quotations & Contracts

Quotation Validity: All written quotations are valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.

Binding Contract: A service contract is formed upon: (a) written acceptance of our quotation by the client, or (b) payment of the agreed deposit, or (c) commencement of services by Trust Gate at the client's request.

Binding Price: The price specified in the written quotation is binding and inclusive of all itemised services. Any additional services not specified in the quotation will be separately agreed upon in writing before execution.

Scope Changes: Changes to the agreed scope of work (additional items, additional floors, restricted access, parking challenges) must be reported before move commencement. Trust Gate reserves the right to issue a supplemental quotation for material scope changes.

4Payment Terms

Deposit: A deposit of 20–30% of the total quoted amount is required to confirm your booking
Balance: The remaining balance is due upon completion of services or delivery
Payment Methods: Bank transfer, credit/debit card, or corporate cheque payable to "Trust Gate Cargo Packaging L.L.C"
Late Payment: Overdue balances accrue interest at 2% per month
Corporate Accounts: Net-30 payment terms available for pre-approved corporate clients under a signed Master Service Agreement

Requesting 100% advance payment before any service has commenced is not a standard Trust Gate practice. If requested, this must be confirmed in writing by a Trust Gate director.

5Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for:

Providing accurate inventory and access information at time of survey and booking
Ensuring all items to be moved or stored are legally owned and free of liens or encumbrances
Disclosing the presence of fragile, high-value, or hazardous items prior to service commencement
Ensuring clear vehicular and pedestrian access to both origin and destination properties
Obtaining any required building management NOC, lift access booking, or parking permits
Ensuring all items are legally permitted for transport under UAE and destination country regulations
Verifying customs documentation accuracy for cross-border shipments

6Liability & Insurance

Standard Coverage: All services include basic Goods-in-Transit liability protection for loss or damage caused by Trust Gate's documented negligence.

All-Risk Insurance: Comprehensive all-risk cargo insurance covering 100% of declared replacement value is available as an optional add-on. Clients are strongly advised to declare accurate item values at the time of booking.

Liability Limits: In the absence of declared all-risk insurance, Trust Gate's maximum liability for damage or loss is limited to AED 500 per item or AED 5,000 per service order, whichever is lower.

Excluded Liability: Trust Gate is not liable for: (a) pre-existing damage not documented in the pre-move inspection report; (b) items improperly packed by the client; (c) inherent vice of items; (d) force majeure events including floods, earthquakes, or civil unrest; (e) customs confiscations arising from prohibited items not disclosed by the client.

7Cancellation & Rescheduling

More than 7 days before service date: Full deposit refund, no charge
3–7 days before service date: 50% deposit retained as cancellation fee
Less than 48 hours before service date: Full deposit forfeited
Same-day cancellation or no-show: 100% of quoted amount may be charged

Rescheduling (changing the service date) requested more than 48 hours in advance is available at no charge, subject to fleet and team availability. Rescheduling requests within 48 hours are treated as cancellations of the original booking.

8Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly excluded from all Trust Gate services:

Alcohol, narcotics, and controlled substances
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives
Currency, financial instruments, and negotiable documents
Live animals and perishable foodstuffs (unless specifically contracted with reefer transport)
Radioactive, biological, or chemical hazardous materials
Items banned by UAE law or destination country customs regulations

The Client is solely responsible for any legal consequences, fines, or delays arising from undisclosed prohibited items in a shipment.

9Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or services provided shall first be addressed through direct negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to the Dubai Courts with exclusive jurisdiction.

Clients may also refer consumer disputes to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) Consumer Rights division at 600-545555.

10Amendments

Trust Gate reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after publication of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
